Price Freeway HOV Lane Project in Chandler


We just received the following information with regards to plans by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to construct High Occupany Vehicle (HOV) lanes in teh median of the Loop 101 Price Freeway in Chandler. Plans will be presented to the Chandler Transportation Commission at the meeting on Thursday, March 20. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 7:00pm in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of the downtown Chandler Library (22 S Delaware St, Chandler). The number provided to call for more information is 480-782-2225.


ADOT representatives will provide information regarding project details, including construction impacts and schedule. The HOV Lane project thorugh Tempe and Chandler consists of two segments stretching from teh Red Mountain Freeway on the north to the Santan Freeway on the south. Construction is scheduled to start this summer and will take approximately 14 months to complete.
